Jackie Grisley SWA

Jackie’s professional background is graphic design, typography and finished artwork. She’s worked on several Fleet Street newspapers and magazines producing promotional artworks for many prestigious events.

Having exhausted her field of expertise in London she changed her career and helped set up a craft-based business venture. Jackie is a committed artist and has been honoured by being invited to become a Member of The Society of Women Artsists and has served on its Council. Her works are in private international collections and she exhibits at The Mall Galleries London, County Kerry Ireland, Herefordshire, Norfolk and locally in Hertfordshire. Her passion for watercolour painting has developed strongly. She is self-taught and her love and reputation for dramatic seascapes, Lakeland & Highland scenes are inspired by travelling around the great British coast where she says ‘the atmospheric and dramatic skies are wonderfully ever-changing. The unpredictability & spontaneity of watercolour painting is constantly exciting and rewarding’.
