Background

Marie joined the society in 2000 and is largely self taught. This painting was produced for a breast cancer charity event at which artists were invited to produce work of this size and with this title. Marie decided to paint the pot of geraniums on her garden patio. She prefers working in acrylic but also works in other media and paints landscapes and figurative subjects.
