Background

A keen landscape painter, in 2002 Stephen moved to the conservation area of Walkern in Hertfordshire to enjoy the inspiration of local scenery and to open his studio.

Friends and local professional artists soon became involved in the venture, with 46 artists now hanging their work to form what is, without doubt, an exciting and varied show of talented creativity.

Walkern Gallery is the studio and home of artist, Stephen Lowe. It is open Thursday to Sunday, 10.00 am to 5.00 pm and or by appointment.
