Kim Roskell, BA Hons. SWA

Early Sun on Snow - Acrylic - 75 x 90cm

Born in Lancashire, began painting and exhibiting at aged 8. Studied art at W.R.Tuson college, the Harris art college and Preston polytechnic.

Later, studied furniture design at Nottingham, and received a BA(hons). Creative work since has included working in special effects film and model making business and set up own company in arborial architectural model making.

All time outside work is spent painting, working in an impressionistic style, mainly in acrylics. Commissions have included portrait paintings, but preference leans towards landscape and architectural works where the effects of light create stunning atmospheres.
